Shepherds of Youth is an established nonprofit organization. If you’re interested in helping us help the Vocationist Fathers and Sisters and the children of Saint Michael School, there are a number of ways you can do so.

You might also consider donating a security, life income gift, or bequest.

Interested in meeting some of the board members or others involved with Shepherds of Youth? Consider attending one of our annual events.

Unlike many non profits, Shepherds of Youth doesn’t limit donations to monetary amounts. SOY also accepts real estate donations, matching gifts through employers, or items donated to be auctioned at one of our events (such as a vehicle).

If all you have is time, like many of us, consider volunteering at one of our many events.

Feel free to use your imagination, spread the word about SOY, and help us raise awareness.  Any item you donate, any time you volunteer, and any monetary amount will help the children of Saint Michael School and the Vocationist Fathers and Sisters.

Qualified Charitable Donation

People who are age 70 ½ or older can contribute up to $100,000 from their IRA directly to a charity and avoid paying income taxes on the distribution. This is known as a qualified charitable distribution.
